Good machine but I am rather indifferent

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Cycles are longer than expected. Heat quality is less than I expected. Great capacity. I don't find all the bells and whistles a necessity and for someone who is unfamiliar with it they might find it intimidating

It's a dryer...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer buttons on the front is a plus and minus. It does give you a flatter area to fold clothes but barely touching the button by accidentally bumping into it happens frequently. I wish the dryer area were larger. I had to downgrade to this size from a 8 cubic. The other complaint is that the end of cycle notification ringtone is not very loud at all. I also miss that from my previous Maytag.

When it works, it's OK.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On Saturday, the dryer was running but not heating. Sheets were in the dryer for over an hour and were still wet. I shut the dryer down and restarted it. After a minute or so, I heard the burner kick in, so I thought all was well. about 10-15 minutes later I checked the sheets. They were still cold and wet. I shut the dryer off again and restarted it. THIS time I turned the "Ecoboost" OFF and turned the temperature up to high from default. The dryer stayed warm/hot and the sheets were properly dried in a few minutes. I did a set of towels with the same settings and they came out fine. The dryer had worked OK for two weeks before. I have reported this issue to the warranty division of my builder.

Big dryer

Dryer is efficient. But I miss an interior light.

This Gas dryer works very well so far. I've owned it about 10 months now. The only issue I have with it, is it does not have an interior light. My old dryer had one, so I miss the interior light.

New Dryer which the ignition controller nt working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago and from the day I bought this gas dryer it's not heating up. The guy came and said the controller is gone from day 1. Whirlpool didn't check or tested the dryer before delivering. I wish I could have checked when installed so I could have returned it

Still learning features on dryer…….

Front-loading gas dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the dryer works Ok. It could get the clothes a bit dryer. After turning it on, the choices are a bit confusing and the ultimate dry time is not consistent with the type of clothes in the dryer. For example, towels, which would take more time and heat get less time than other lighter-weight items. The door is a little difficult to open. There's plenty of room in the dryer for large loads. But, I've made it work.

There's a bad one in every batch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's always a bad one in every batch and it's likely that I got it. I've owned the unit for two weeks. I've already had a repair technician look at it twice so far and it still isn't working correctly. The first tech visit was because it wasn't heating up. Later that day it stopped working again. The tech came out again and completely disassembled the unit trying to fix it and found nothing wrong. After reassembly, it started heating up again, but now, only days later, it seems to only heat up when it wants to. I've had nothing but trouble with this dryer and would not recommend it based on my experience thus far.

Fantastic dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with this dryer. A few months ago, we purchased a Whirlpool washer and I was immediately impressed. Before this, we never had a Whirlpool appliance. With our positive experience with the washer, we chose to get a Whirlpool dryer. The functionality of this unit is top notch and is built with high quality. Plus, I love the added space to fully dry our sheets and comforters. I know we'll be buying Whirlpool in the future!
